
The Concertgebouw is one of the most visited concert halls in the world, hosting over 900 events and welcoming more than 730,000 visitors each year. The acoustics of our halls are world-renowned; nowhere else does classical music sound more beautiful. Within the Marketing, Communications, and Sales department, you will be part of the Content Team. This is a dedicated and enthusiastic team made up of various specialists in the field of content, including copywriting, web editing, image editing, and graphic design. Within the Concertgebouw, the Content Team is responsible for the substantive, often narrative (marketing) communications, such as brochures, podcasts, and videos.
As an interim Social Media & Video Manager, you will continue to implement the Concertgebouw’s current social media strategy. You will develop a wide range of social media content in collaboration with our freelance content creators and with input from the Marketing department, among others. You will actually create some of the content yourself. The role also involves conceptualizing and producing videos and concert recordings, which includes creatively and substantively directing external video teams. In your role, you will ensure that the Concertgebouw’s online image is maintained and monitored. In generating attention for the Concertgebouw on social media, you will work closely with the Press & PR Manager, the Marketing department, and the Programming department of the Concertgebouw. Social advertising is not part of the role.

The temporary contract for the position of Social Media Manager runs from mid-June 2025 through mid-January 2026 (7 months).
