Do you like to roll up your sleeves to tackle major social issues from every angle? Work with us to build a social, learning, inclusive, and sustainable society. We put into practice what we advocate, which is why we do everything in collaboration with the people closest to the issue: from residents, young people, teachers, and nurses to scientists, civil servants, and policymakers. Together with them, we learn and experiment to bring about future-proof, positive change that benefits the whole of society, rather than just the happy few. Does this appeal to you? Then apply for this position!
At Kennisland, we have been working independently and tirelessly for more than twenty years to advance social progress—for example, by addressing the teacher shortage, reducing inequality, modernizing the healthcare sector, and fostering participatory energy transition. We experiment in practice and explore new possibilities for the future. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a social innovator for at least 32 hours per week.
You recognize the need for change and are driven by a deep-seated desire to advance society. You thrive on working with groups of people and know how to inspire them to take action. You are able to collaborate with our partners to explore, discover, and design. You know how to clearly communicate the knowledge and insights you gain. We are specifically looking for someone who speaks their mind, takes a critical look at themselves, others, and society as a whole, is willing to learn (together), and contributes to the development of our organization.
In short, as a social innovator at Kennisland, you want to turn big ideas into concrete projects that drive social progress. You’ll do this alongside a team of dedicated, independent-minded, and curious Kennislanders.
Kennisland is an organization that encourages your own ideas and initiatives. Our team consists ofcritical, passionate, and optimistic people who care deeply about pressing social issues, explore ways to improve them, and take action. We work from a pleasant office in the heart of Amsterdam and offer you a high degree of responsibility, flexibility, excellent benefits, and plenty of opportunities for professional development. We’ll make sure you settle in comfortably at Kennisland; we learn with and from each other, and there’s an individual training budget. Kennisland is part of the CAOP Group.
How can you apply?

This is based on a 38-hour workweek, excluding an 8% vacation allowance and a 9.56% flexible spending allowance. An aptitude and personality test and an integrity scan may be part of the application process.
