We are looking for a new team member to help set up our new location in Veenendaal. Would you like to help refugees make a fresh start in the Netherlands? Then read on!
At Refugee Team, we firmly believe that refugees deserve a full place in Dutch society and can make a valuable contribution to our community. That is why we support their integration every step of the way—from finding a place to live to securing paid employment. Through personalized guidance, interactive workshops, and volunteer work, we work together to ensure that they can take the lead in building a future in the Netherlands. The goal is for them to be part of the community from day one.
Starting January 1, we will begin supporting status holders in Veenendaal as they find their place in their new community. An important part of this is the social support we offer them on an individual and family level. Social guidance (MB) means that we support participants with their personal paperwork with the goal of helping them achieve a secure and stable situation during that time, making them as self-reliant as possible.
As a social worker, you will support status holders in our integration program at both the individual and group levels. By leading interactive and informative workshops, you will help participants find their way in the Netherlands. In addition, you will work closely with relevant parties, such as the municipality and language schools, and quickly coordinate with local and national organizations (such as the Tax and Customs Administration) to provide participants with the best possible support.
Please send your cover letter (max. 350 words) and your resume by November 24, with the subject line “Social Worker Position in Veenendaal,” tovacatures@refugeeteam.nl.
Do you have any questions about the position? If so, please contact Simone Hoekzema (06-45310422).
