We are looking for a visionary leader who can conduct practice-oriented research from a nursing perspective to bring about sustainable change in the complex healthcare and welfare landscape.
In collaboration with Isala, IJsselheem, Icare, and Carinova, Windesheim is establishing a research group focused on the nursing perspective on person-centered care and support. You will have the unique opportunity to build this research group from the ground up and lead it. You will conduct practice-oriented research that directly contributes to better and more affordable care, improved client experiences, and stronger care networks. In other words, working on the integration of care and well-being from the client’s perspective!
You have experience conducting practice-oriented research, preferably within multidisciplinary research consortia where research, education, and practice converge. You have a proven track record of successfully writing and securing research grants. In addition, you are a true bridge-builder who can forge connections between practice and research and reconcile the diverse interests of stakeholders. You hold a Ph.D. and have a background in nursing.
You also have a track record of relevant publications, with some of them preferably as first author. You possess extensive methodological expertise and have experience mentoring others in research. While an existing relevant network is a plus, it is more important that you are able to build one. Experience working at or within a university of applied sciences is preferred, as is experience with international collaborations.
