Would you like to work alongside passionate colleagues to create a world where people and nature thrive? And help build a “nature-positive” impact in the world’s most biodiverse landscapes by mobilizing people? That’s what you’ll be doing when you work at the World Wildlife Fund (WWF-NL).
WWF-NL employs 170 talented and intrinsically motivated professionals. WWF-NL is a professional and dynamic organization with an informal work environment based in Zeist. The organization consists of the following departments: Conservation, Engagement, Organization & Talent Development, and Finance & Operations. The HR team consists of the Head of HR, two HR Business Partners, and a Junior HR Business Partner/Recruitment Coordinator. To strengthen this team, we are seeking a Learning & Development Advisor (32–40 hours per week).
As a Learning & Development Advisor, you will serve as the point of contact within the HR team for all matters related to team and employee development at WWF-NL. You will be responsible for the overall learning and development portfolio, working on both strategic and operational levels. The organization is at the beginning of developing a new long-term strategy, and culture and leadership development are key pillars of this effort. As a Learning & Development Advisor, you will take a leading role in this process and will be responsible for initiating and organizing appropriate learning interventions. You will build upon existing programs, such as Personal Leadership and our talent development program, while also introducing innovation. You will work closely with the Head of HR and the HR Business Partners to determine, based on the (new) strategy, what is needed to further build the right capabilities within the organization, and you will collaborate on talent management to better facilitate growth and development. You will also support the HR Business Partners as needed with individual or team development questions. You will independently coordinate various programs, connect initiatives, and ensure that the training and coaching budget is spent effectively in line with WWF-NL’s strategy. You are also part of the international People & Culture community. You will maintain contact with WWF International and other WWF offices regarding collaboration on development programs. You will report to the Head of HR.
For this versatile role, we are looking for an experienced Learning & Development Advisor who is creative and solution-oriented and can quickly switch between strategic/tactical thinking and operational execution.
