Who are we? 

Goed geschud is a management consulting firm specializing in complex and strategic issues in the social sector. We work in public administration, education, and social services. In these sectors, we provide advice on strategy, policy, and organizational development. We are thinkers and doers who drive change. We make organizations stronger and better. We do this with humor and perspective, but also with a healthy dose of honesty. Since we started Goed geschud, we’ve grown rapidly. Now we’re looking for you to join our team! 

What will you be doing as a junior organizational consultant at Goed geschud? 

Versatility 

You’ll be working on a wide variety of issues within a diverse range of organizations. No matter what the project is, the ultimate goal is to create a lasting social impact.  

Thinking and Doing 

In your work, you are able to get to the heart of the matter, identify connections, and draw conclusions. In every advisory process, you incorporate the latest (scientific) developments and actively engage with the field. You speak with all parties involved in a project—from a young person dropping out of school to the alderman. Through this combination of approaches, you learn to uncover all valuable information. For us, this way of thinking and acting forms the basis of sound advice. 

Result 

With energy and humor, you’ll work together with your colleagues to develop a recommendation. Your input matters. We take everyone’s perspective into account and believe that a combination of viewpoints leads to the best results.   

Sustainable 

We do more than just put recommendations on paper. As a consultant, you’ll be actively involved in turning those recommendations into concrete actions. Does this require organizing a training session, an inspirational festival, or a game-based activity? It will all be part of your responsibilities. We’re happy to build on the skills you already have and teach you the rest.  

The work in a nutshell: 

• You will work on an average of 5 projects at a time, alongside a team of consultants; 
• The Utrecht office serves as our base; for projects, you’ll travel by train throughout the Netherlands, and working from home is also an option;  
• In addition to working on client projects, you’ll help build Goed geschud. You’ll work in project teams on internal projects, such as recruitment, marketing, and training. 
• Your responsibilities are varied and differ depending on the assignment, but common tasks include: conducting interviews, leading group sessions, brainstorming, conducting literature reviews, presenting and writing, and project management and planning; 
• You’ll help draft proposals for potential projects, attend initial meetings, and gradually expand your own network; 
• You’ll work with your colleagues on your professional development during training sessions, including in areas such as leadership, writing, and business development.

What we offer you

• You can work either at our cozy office in downtown Utrecht or from home;
• We value your contribution to Goed geschud more than the number of days you work each year. You choose how many vacation days you take and receive 8% vacation pay. This gives you the flexibility to take time off on the holidays and special days that are important to you; 
• We contribute to your pension: 4% of your gross annual salary;
• Of course, this comes with a competitive salary, ranging from €2,700 to €3,650 gross per month, including vacation pay;
• You'll get lunch, fruit, and Tony Chocolonely at the office.
