
As a Junior Night Program Marketer, you’ll be responsible for promoting our night program and handling the associated content marketing. There’s a particular focus on further developing our “Doornroosje At Night” brand. You’re a true night owl and can often be found on the (Nijmegen) club scene.
Doornroosje has been the premier music venue in Nijmegen and the surrounding area for over 50 years. From pop, rock, and hip-hop to techno, metal, and jazz: Doornroosje is the place to be for live shows. In addition to its main venue on Stationsplein, Doornroosje also operates the smaller Merleyn music venue and is a (co-)organizer of festivals such as Oranjepop, Bevrijdingsfestival Nijmegen, Valkhof Festival, and Het Nest. With a small but powerful core team and a skilled, driven, and highly flexible support staff, nearly 500 events are organized each year, reaching over 400,000 music lovers. Just like pop music itself, Doornroosje is constantly evolving and far from reaching its full potential. You’re a true night owl and a regular on the (Nijmegen) club scene. You have a keen eye for our various target audiences and know better than anyone how to translate this into promotional activities that fill our venues. To do this, you’ll work closely with your fellow marketers, programmers, and nightlife partners. You’ll brainstorm with the Senior Nightlife Program Marketer and then quickly turn those ideas into creative marketing activities. You’re a music lover, know your way around various social media channels like no one else, and aren’t afraid to experiment. You also contribute critical thinking to the development of marketing campaigns.
