A unique opportunity for a Junior Bookkeeper to take the next steps together in a wonderful sector: the live music industry!
Friendly Fire is a dynamic and growing company with a casual yet professional work environment.
We are based in Amsterdam and are actively involved in organizing concerts and events, as well as booking and managing artists from the Netherlands and abroad. Among other things, we arrange club and festival performances for these artists, plan their careers, and liaise with other stakeholders such as agents, record labels, (tour) managers, publishers, etc.
We work with and for artists such as Snoop Dogg, Yade Lauren, Måneskin, Fontaines D.C., Danny Vera, Ne-Yo, Kensington, Krezip, Khruangbin, Cigarettes After Sex, Blur, Alt-J, George Ezra, and many others. We also produce events such as Best Kept Secret Festival, Live At Amsterdamse Bos, and Indian Summer Festival; we’re involved in hundreds of bookings for Dutch and international artists in the club and festival scene; and we have a theater division.
Friendly Fire is part of FKP Scorpio, a European group of concert and festival organizers with offices in various European countries.
We are looking for a Junior Bookkeeper (f/x/m) to join our organization as soon as possible.
The work includes the following tasks, among others:
You enjoy keeping the books in order and are open to optimizing processes. You have demonstrable relevant work experience or a degree in accounting or business administration. You have an affinity for the tasks listed in the job posting and are eager to expand your knowledge in this area. A solid understanding of accounting and related tax matters is a must. Experience with AFAS and Excel is a plus. You feel comfortable working in a team but are also capable of working independently. Friendly Fire strives to be a diverse organization, so it doesn’t matter to us where you were born, what you believe in, or who you love. We’re curious about your talent and your ideas.
We’re also very interested in hearing about other personal qualities and skills you bring to the table that could help our team. We encourage everyone to apply, even if you don’t fully meet all the job requirements.
