Talented individuals with hearing and/or visual impairments often work below their potential and feel less confident in the workplace. They take less advantage of opportunities and possibilities, and as a result, may miss out on jobs that are truly suited to them. We know better than anyone that this vulnerable group is just as entitled to a well-paying job as anyone else and that they need support to get there. That is why we are looking to strengthen our team with an empathetic and experienced coach
Ctalents is the leading staffing agency for people with sensory disabilities! These are talented individuals with visual or hearing impairments who are capable of so much more than society realizes. These are the people we believe in and champion, day in and day out. We believe that an inclusive society is not a luxury, but an absolute necessity that must become the norm as soon as possible. Simply cheering from the sidelines is not enough.
Ctalents is a social enterprise that helps talented individuals who are blind, visually impaired, deaf, or hard of hearing find jobs at the MBO4, HBO, and WO levels. We do this by collaborating in innovative ways with major partners such as ABN AMRO, Rabobank, PwC, and the Postcode Lottery. With courage, an open mind, and a “play to win” attitude, we are the staffing agency that demonstrates that inclusion truly delivers sustainable results. Ctalents’ support doesn’t stop once the right workplace has been found. We stay in touch with our employees to ensure they can continue to grow. This can be with the same client, or by switching assignments from time to time. We use coaching, among other things, precisely because we want our employees to get the best out of themselves.
In this varied role, you’ll meet people from a diverse range of backgrounds in terms of the target group, the issues they face, and their age. You’ll be responsible for the coaching program for our seconded employees and everything related to it.
Our employees turn to the coach for support with a variety of issues, ranging from simple to complex problems across various areas of life. As a coach, you will guide them in developing social skills, self-reliance, and independence, as well as increasing their assertiveness and resilience. You will provide coaching in an accessible manner and observe, identify, and guide employees in their work.
Through one-on-one coaching, you help them develop their personal skills. You engage with employees to identify how they can effectively develop their personal competencies. You don’t give up when you hear “no.” In your work, you always take a holistic approach and assess whether other forms of support are needed in addition to the specific request for assistance. Seeing someone grow and find their place in society never gets old!
In addition, you will ensure that workshops are organized and conducted. These might include workshops on time management, personal effectiveness, or topics that come up during coaching sessions.
We offer coaching programs to all new employees; some of these are arranged through a job coach application submitted to the UWV or through the municipality. The organization and administration involved in this process are also part of your responsibilities.
