We are currently seeking candidates for the IT&PF department:

IT Specialist in Information Systems and Application Management (m/f/x)
36 hours per week

Here's what you'll be doing:

You identify future trends in system usage and propose both technical and organizational improvements;
You will analyze the workflows and processes within the NTR and translate them into NPO applications or web systems, applying the latest IT developments;
You are exploring options for integrating and exchanging data with existing systems;
You assist users with the use of (web) applications and information systems, provide instructions, and create clear user manuals;
You stay up to date on developments in your field, actively follow new trends, and share your knowledge with colleagues;
You will ensure that legal requirements and guidelines established by the NTR and NPO regarding security and privacy are implemented and adhered to;
You identify tasks necessary for the security, performance, quality, and availability of systems, carry them out, or provide recommendations regarding them;
You will perform checks on applications and databases and ensure they are properly maintained;
You manage the applications in use: you handle authorizations, run scripts, generate reports, and customize or develop workflows and user interfaces (GUIs);
You keep users informed about features and performance and discuss proposed changes with suppliers and users;
You will serve as a point of contact within the team, the department, and the organization for issues related to information systems, system architecture, and the analysis of metadata and user data.

Requirements

This is you:

You have at least a college-level education and way of thinking;
You have experience with Office 365, SharePoint, AFAS, FileMaker, SQL Server, and APIs;
You are flexible and service-oriented;
You are resourceful, proactive, and have strong communication skills;
You work effectively both independently and as part of a team;
You're good at planning and organizing;
Proficiency in Dutch and English.

Here's what we offer:

A one-year contract with the option to extend. The position is classified in pay scale G (€3,324.57 – €4,909.65) of the Collective Bargaining Agreement for Broadcasting Personnel. The other terms and conditions of employment are also in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement for Broadcasting Personnel.

As an NTR employee, you will receive a 6% year-end bonus, 8% vacation pay, a travel allowance, more than five weeks of vacation per year, annual salary increases, a group pension plan, and a monthly contribution toward your health insurance.
