Internal Relationship Manager (32–40 hours)
With a focus on and a keen understanding of (organic) agriculture


We are looking for an Internal Relationship Manager for the Agriculture team within the Business Relations department at Triodos Bank Netherlands. Together with your fellow Internal Relationship Manager, you will support the External Relationship Managers in managing the loan portfolio of agricultural and horticultural clients. This involves both acquiring new loan relationships and managing an existing portfolio. The focus of your duties will be on supporting the External Relationship Managers and proactively managing the loan portfolio.

Profile
Take action:

  • You will maintain contact with prospects and clients in the External Relationship Managers’ portfolios via phone and email;
  • You analyze and assess early warning signs;
  • Based on a financial analysis you will prepare, you will independently draft audit proposals
  • You will conduct initial assessments of credit applications submitted by customers and prospects, and, where possible, assist the External Relationship Managers in drafting credit proposals;
  • You will help improve the efficiency of our processes by identifying and implementing potential improvements.

The Agriculture Team
The Agriculture Team within the Business Relations department consists of six colleagues who are jointly responsible for financing businesses in the agricultural sectors. The team comprises four External and two Internal Relationship Managers. The team is highly motivated to make an impact in the transition toward a resilient and sustainable agricultural and food system. The team members enjoy working together in harmony and collaboration to tackle the tasks at hand.

Furthermore, you possess

  • At least a college-level standard of work and thinking.
  • Strong (financial) analytical and communication skills.
  • Banking experience in business financing is a plus.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written Dutch and English.
  • Perseverance and a focus on results.
  • You have a team-oriented attitude and are collaborative.
