Integrity Coordinator, NVWA

The Netherlands Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority (NVWA) is seeking an Integrity Coordinator. Together with two colleagues, you will work to raise awareness of integrity within the organization. Guided by a clear vision, you will inspire and support employees and management in adhering to integrity policies.

What will you be doing?

Implementation of the multi-year integrity policy plan:

• Building support and fostering a sense of ownership for the integrity policy within the organization, including by developing an action plan; 
• Fostering and supporting discussions on integrity issues within the organization.

Reviewing and handling reports of integrity violations:

• Conducting preliminary investigations into reports and handling requests for advice on integrity by interviewing reporters and witnesses and evaluating relevant information;
• Advising whistleblowers and management and, if necessary, initiating and overseeing investigations into specific individuals.

Providing advice based on case studies, risks, and policy implementation:

• Provide solicited and unsolicited advice on integrity issues and risks;
• Initiating policy proposals and fostering open discussion of integrity issues within teams and among management;
• Assisting with the implementation of laws and regulations and providing guidance on risk analyses related to integrity.

Organizing activities to promote integrity awareness:

• Presenting integrity-related topics in an engaging and inspiring way;
• Promoting open discussions about integrity within the organization.

Role of the Integrity Coordinator within the organization:

• Advising management, administrative leaders, and other colleagues;
• Referring cases to other reporting centers and collaborating with other parties in the reporting ecosystem;
• Collaborate with other integrity coordinators within the Integrity Advisory Board.
