We are looking for a:
Purchaser with an interest in contract management
Amsterdam – 36 hours per week
You are well-versed in negotiating and drafting contracts that support the organization’s objectives. With your experience and skills, you ensure that specifications and procedures align perfectly with expected supplier performance, and you contribute to their continuous improvement.
The Procurement Department is relatively new. We expect you to help put Procurement on the map by taking ownership, keeping your word, delivering high-quality work, and further developing procurement processes. We are constantly evolving and aim to take things to the next level.
We are looking for several buyers with expertise in property management in all its forms, as well as in indirect categories such as HR, Facilities, IT, and Legal.
Your duties and responsibilities are as follows:
First and foremost, because you are a driven and results-oriented buyer with an eye for detail and quality. You know how to translate procurement strategies and requests for proposals into concrete results, and you possess strong analytical and practical skills.
Procurement is a craft; you are practical and results-oriented. You work with precision and deliver high-quality results. You help your client define requirements and preferences, select the right partner, and set up contract management.
Procurement is all about taking initiative, so you take the lead when you see opportunities to improve or innovate.
Purchasing is all about teamwork; we’re a small team, and we can only get things done by working together. You’re a natural at collaborating, so you’ll work well with our clients, too.
In addition, you are an excellent negotiator who knows how to achieve the best results for the organization. You have excellent communication skills and are attuned to organizational dynamics, allowing you to navigate smoothly between internal and external stakeholders and effectively balance the various interests at stake.
