Purchasing Consultant

What are you going to do? 

As a procurement advisor, you will provide guidance on and oversee procurement processes. You will independently conduct (multi-source) private and European tenders for supplies, services, IT, and construction projects. In addition, you will serve as a procurement advisor on interregional and national projects and participate in interregional and national consultation bodies. When necessary, you will serve as an independent project manager for procurement projects. You are one of the procurement advisors on the Procurement and Contracts Team and contribute to fostering collaboration and engagement.

Who are you?  

With your experience as a procurement consultant, you know how to achieve optimal results within the framework of procurement policy and applicable laws and regulations. You are results-oriented and know how to strike the right balance between professionalism and a people-oriented approach.

You'll recognize yourself in this  

• Demonstrable higher vocational education (HBO+) level of work and thinking, preferably based on a relevant completed higher vocational education degree;
• Hold a Nevi 1 and 2 certificate or equivalent, or have knowledge at this level demonstrated through work experience;
• Knowledge of and experience with (European) procurement processes;
• Knowledge of and experience with consulting;
• Knowledge of and experience with project management;
• You take ownership and know how to deliver results that help the organization continue to grow.

• Salary in pay grade 10A ranging from €3,935 to €5,748 per month based on a 36-hour workweek.
• A 36-hour-a-week job
• A flexible spending allowance equal to 18.63% of your gross annual salary. This includes your year-end bonus and vacation pay.
• 187.2 hours of leave based on a 36-hour workweek, including 43.2 hours of overtime.
• A one-year appointment, with the possibility of a permanent position.
• A generous pension plan through ABP, 70% of which is paid by us.
• The option to work remotely with a work-from-home allowance of €3 per day.
• Monthly health insurance premium.

The Team 

The Procurement and Contracts Team is responsible for procurement processes and contract management. The Procurement and Contracts Team is part of the Facilities Management Department and is located at the Security Center (Galwin 3 in Amsterdam).
