The Dutch Patient Federation represents more than 200 patient organizations. Approximately 75 people work at our office in Utrecht.

Information Manager at ZorgkaartNederland

(32–36 hours per week)

The ZorgkaartNederland Team

ZorgkaartNederland is the largest review website in the Dutch healthcare sector. On ZorgkaartNederland, people share their healthcare experiences with others. This helps people choose a healthcare provider that’s the right fit for them. ZorgkaartNederland is an initiative of the Dutch Patient Federation. The ZorgkaartNederland team consists of 15 professionals, including editors, advisors, project managers, a marketer, and system administrators. This team works daily to further improve ZorgkaartNederland, maintain contact with healthcare providers and reviewers, manage the database, and more.

What will you be doing?

The ZorgkaartNederland team is looking for someone with strong expertise in information management. You will be responsible for the ZorgkaartNederland database and data flows to and from the platform, and you will contribute ideas regarding future developments.

In this role, you will be responsible for both hands-on and coordinating tasks, including:

• Stakeholder management, both internal and external.
• Proactively identify the questions and needs of the ZorgkaartNederland team and stakeholders, and follow up on them.
• Serving as the project lead to oversee project progress and working at both the strategic and tactical levels with the ZorgkaartNederland product team.

What are we looking for in a candidate?

• Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably in information management (the latter is a plus).
• Extensive, proven experience in the field of IT/information management.
• Strong analytical skills; you’re excellent at keeping track of the various data streams and how they intersect with our processes.
• You can translate this analysis into practical solutions.
• Experience with program and project management within a nonprofit organization.
• Knowledge of stakeholder management and how to implement it, both internally and externally.
• Proactively identifying the questions and needs of the ZorgkaartNederland team and stakeholders, and following up on them.
• Taking the lead in managing project progress and working at the strategic and tactical levels with the ZorgkaartNederland product team.
• Customer-focused and attuned to organizational dynamics. You excel at conceptual thinking and are skilled at articulating a vision and implementing it within an organization.

What else do you bring to the table?

You are socially engaged and have a relevant network in the healthcare sector, or are able to build one quickly. You have at least three years of relevant work experience. You quickly get the hang of new concepts and products and are happy to take responsibility for your own work.

We also offer flexible working hours. So this isn’t a job where you necessarily have to work strictly “9 to 5.” We work partly at the office in Utrecht and partly from home.

Depending on your education and experience, the salary is up to €5,356.00 gross per month for a 36-hour workweek (Social Work Collective Bargaining Agreement, Scale 11).

The Dutch Patient Federation offers excellent employment benefits, including an Individual Choice Budget (IKB) and a career budget. The IKB is a budget that you can use as you see fit—whether to have it paid out or to purchase additional leave hours, for example. You will also receive a work-from-home allowance and, if applicable, reimbursement for your commuting expenses.

Under the terms of the collective bargaining agreement, you are enrolled in the Healthcare and Welfare Pension Fund.
