HR Consultant

We are constantly looking for ways to address the housing crisis and improve advocacy for tenants and those seeking housing. There is still much to be gained in this area, and we work hard on it every day. We do this with a team of nearly 60 employees, including consultants and advisors, lawyers, energy specialists, policymakers, and communications staff. As an HR advisor, you ensure that everything runs smoothly in the HR department and that these employees are supported as effectively as possible. In this way, you help amplify the voice of the nation’s renters.

What will you be doing?
As an HR Advisor, you will be the sole person in this role. You will handle all aspects of HR, from the strategic to the operational level. You will advise management on personnel and organizational developments, as well as on individual employee matters. You will translate laws and regulations into practical policies, advise managers, and implement these policies.

Your responsibilities will include recruitment and selection processes, attending and taking minutes during performance reviews, managing occupational health and safety cases, and organizing training sessions. You will also serve as the administrator of the HR and payroll system. Payroll processing is outsourced, but you will be responsible for providing the necessary data. Finally, you will serve as a point of contact for employees regarding HR and payroll matters.

With your well-rounded HR knowledge, analytical skills, and interpersonal skills, you are a pleasant conversation partner for both employees and management, and you know how to take HR to the next level. You can think and act strategically, but you’re also willing to handle the associated administrative tasks.

You have;

• A completed associate's degree in Human Resource Management.
• Knowledge of human resources policy and employment terms and conditions.
• Knowledge of HR-related legislation.
• Preferably, some knowledge of payroll administration is also required.

You can count on this

• A 36-hour-a-week position.
• For a 36-hour workweek, a gross monthly salary between €2,780 and €3,961 (scale 8) in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement for social work. The starting salary depends on knowledge, skills, and experience.
• A one-year contract with the possibility of renewal or a permanent position.
• An individual flexible spending account of at least 18.8% of your salary and excellent benefits, including a personal career development fund of 1.5% of your monthly salary.
