
Are you an experienced HR consultant who can easily switch between strategy, policy, and day-to-day operations? If so, you might be the perfect fit for the HR consultant position at the Mulier Institute!
In this multifaceted role, you will serve as both a strategic partner to the executive board and management team (MT) and as the coordinator of day-to-day HR operations and the HR team. That team currently consists of two employees and reports to the Operations Department. You will act as the link between employees, managers, and the MT in an organization that makes a social impact.

You navigate seamlessly between policy and practice, have a keen sense of what’s going on, and know how to stay on course. With your analytical mindset, organizational acumen, and coaching style, you’re a strong partner for both managers and colleagues within and outside the HR team.

The Mulier Institute operates on a 37.5-hour workweek and offers a benefits package that includes full reimbursement of travel expenses, a work-from-home policy, and a time-for-time and leave savings scheme. We follow the salary scales set forth in the Collective Labor Agreement for Dutch Universities. The position of HR Advisor is classified in scale 10 (€3,546 – €5,538). You will initially receive a one-year contract, with the possibility of extension.
The Mulier Institute conducts sports research for policymakers and society. Our clients are primarily civil society organizations, government agencies, and sports organizations. Our institute employs approximately 80 colleagues who are passionate about sports, physical activity, and health. The institute is located at the Galgenwaard Stadium in Utrecht.
