About the role

Due to the growth of our organization, we are looking to expand our HR team. As an HR Associate, you’ll play a key role in ensuring well-organized HR administration. You’ll support the HR department with administrative and organizational tasks and work closely with our HR Associate and HR Manager. Thanks to your attention to detail, discretion, and supportive attitude, colleagues can count on you to handle HR processes efficiently and promptly.

Work

In this role, you will be responsible for a wide range of HR tasks. You will manage personnel files, track absenteeism due to illness, and ensure that changes are accurately recorded in our HR system. You will handle the administrative processing of new hires, transfers, and departures, and assist in drafting employment contracts and related correspondence.

In addition, you’ll answer HR-related questions from colleagues and play a role in the recruitment process, which includes conducting an initial screening of applicants. You’ll enjoy contributing ideas on the development of our wellness policy. Finally, you’ll actively contribute ideas on how we can make our HR processes more efficient, clearer, and more inclusive.

What do you bring to the table?

You have an MBO+ level of work and thinking, preferably in HRM, administration, or a related field.
At least 1 year of experience in a similar HR role.
You are meticulous, discreet, and organized.
Ideally, you live near Venlo or Eindhoven.
You speak and write Dutch well.
Ability to work well with others and thrive in a dynamic environment.
Experience with NMBRS or another HR system is a plus.
You are convinced that refugees can make a valuable contribution to Dutch society.

Contract for 32 to 40 hours per week.
Collective Bargaining Agreement for Social Work, Scale 8.

The possibility of working from home is negotiable.
