In your role as a Human Resources Administrator, you’ll be a key link in our HR department and contribute to our mission: providing children with a solid foundation for their future.
You are the go-to source of administrative expertise in our HR department. For this role, we are looking for someone with the right knowledge and work experience to help make our department even more professional. Together with your direct colleague, you will ensure that personnel administration runs smoothly. As a true liaison, you will regularly call and email colleagues and managers on-site, consult with HR advisors, and coordinate with external parties such as the UWV. In your interactions, you recognize what the other person needs so that you can help them move forward from your role. The HR field is subject to a large amount of laws and regulations, but you know your way around them well. The same applies to HR systems; at 2Samen, we work with Visma Raet (Beaufort/Youforce). And if something catches your eye? We’d love it if you’d take the initiative to get started on it.
8:30 a.m. – You’vechosen tram 1 and arrive at the bright, airy office around 8:30 a.m. today. Time for coffee!
9:00 a.m. – Youcheck the email from HR. There are quite a few questions again. Unit Manager Maaike wants to know the rules for taking maternity leave early; she has a pregnant colleague who is starting to find the work in the infant group too demanding. Faizel has a question about the travel expense policy—how exactly does that tram pass work? You answer Faizel right away, but you’ll need to look up the laws and regulations for Maaike. To do that, you first dive into the Work and Care Act.
10:00 a.m. – We’vejust switched to the cloud version of Youforce. It’ll take some getting used to. You’ll receive training together with your immediate supervisor, the HR process support specialist, and your colleagues in payroll.
12:00 PM – You’restarting to get hungry, so your next stop is lunch. There’s always someone to sit with in the cozy cafeteria. Today you brought your own lunch, but luckily the supermarket is also within walking distance.
2:00 p.m. – HRAdvisor Machteld has received some questions regarding the contracts of employees at various locations. You’ll discuss the options together.
3:00 PM –Speaking ofcontracts: we’ve hired a few new colleagues! You’ll make sure all the necessary information is in order and that the contracts are drafted and sent out. You’ve noticed that the process could be more efficient. Tomorrow, take a closer look and see if you can put your ideas on paper. Then you can discuss them right away at next week’s team meeting.
5:00 p.m. –Well, your day is over. Tomorrow you’ll be working from home, and you’ve set aside some time to attend an interesting webinar on HR administration: right up your alley!
