
The Netherlands Philharmonic Orchestra|Netherlands Chamber Orchestra presents opera and concert productions of the highest artistic caliber. As the resident orchestra partner of Dutch National Opera, the Netherlands Philharmonic Orchestra|Netherlands Chamber Orchestra is internationally regarded as one of the finest opera orchestras. Lorenzo Viotti is chief conductor of the Netherlands Philharmonic Orchestra and of Dutch National Opera. Gordan Nikolić is music director of the Netherlands Chamber Orchestra. The Royal Concertgebouw serves as the home venue for a diverse concert program. Both orchestras combine artistic excellence with accessibility in a program designed for a broad audience. In this role, you will work closely with the Head of HR and serve as the point of contact for managers, musicians, and staff members. You will ensure the implementation of employment terms and conditions arising from collective bargaining agreements and other regulations, and maintain efficient HR administration. You will process personnel changes in various (HR) systems and be responsible for monitoring, preparing, and partially implementing the absence and occupational health and safety policies. For managers, you will serve as an HR advisor on training, absenteeism, and occupational health and safety. You will identify trends and consult with managers, the Head of HR, and the company physician. You act as a case manager and provide advice and support for return-to-work programs. In doing so, you maintain contact with external parties who assist us in implementing HR policy. Naturally, in your role, you also make proposals for the development of health and safety/HR policy and participate in organization-wide HR projects, such as those related to periodic medical examinations, healthy and safe working conditions, and professional development.
In this versatile role, you’ll have the opportunity to apply your professional expertise and organizational skills while continuing to grow as an HR professional.
You have a degree in HR at the MBO Level 4 or higher. You have gained relevant work experience in an HR department and are eager to further expand your knowledge. You are highly proficient in Word, Excel, and other software. You are willing to pursue further training to become a case manager.
Of course, you are fluent in Dutch and can also communicate effectively in English. Ideally, you have worked (or are currently working) in for-profit and nonprofit organizations that employ highly educated professionals.

Salary depends on age and experience and amounts to a maximum of approximately €3,896.00 gross per month for a full-time position of 36 hours (scale 8 of the Central Government Collective Labor Agreement). In addition, you will receive an 8% vacation allowance and a year-end bonus. We are affiliated with the ABP Pension Fund and offer discounts on supplemental employee insurance plans.
