The Dutch National Opera & Ballet is one of the largest cultural organizations in the Netherlands and is located in the heart of Amsterdam. With over 650 colleagues representing more than 30 nationalities, we work together every day to enrich the lives of as many people as possible through the wonder, beauty, and meaning of opera and ballet. Every detail counts, which is why we value craftsmanship in every part of our organization. Would you like to use your experience and enthusiasm to contribute to this?
Are you always organized, do you enjoy working with others, and do you take the initiative? Do you love improving processes and ensuring that administrative tasks run smoothly? Then we’re looking for you to be our new HR Associate! Together with your colleagues on the HR team—a group of ten enthusiastic professionals—you’ll ensure that our HR administration runs smoothly and reliably. You’ll be the link between operations and HR consulting, and you’ll be there to support colleagues throughout the organization. You’ll ensure that all personnel data is correctly processed in our HR system (AFAS), and you’ll play an active role in the recruitment and selection of new employees.
No two days are the same in our dynamic organization. Where else can you enter through the artists’ entrance, work alongside dancers, hear choir members singing, and see designers busy at work on costumes, hats, and shoes? Here, you’ll work in a vibrant environment brimming with craftsmanship, creativity, and diversity. A unique opportunity to put your organizational skills and administrative strengths to work amidst the magic of opera and ballet!
Do you have several years of experience in a similar role, excel at administrative work, have experience with AFAS, and combine attention to detail with excellent communication skills? Are you resilient and do you enjoy getting things done? If so, we warmly invite you to apply!
