HR Manager (5-month maternity leave replacement)

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the hiring process (internal and external). Manage and/or perform related administrative tasks
• Liaise with the HR centers of excellence to secure specialist resources in European Learning & Development and Compensation & Benefits, and collaborate with these teams to deepen their understanding of the business segments and foster relationship-building.
• Serve as a facilitator for improvement processes related to team performance, organizational design, change management, and internal communication. Work with the business to identify issues, organize the necessary meetings, and help the business achieve its desired state
• In collaboration with the HR Director (and other HR Managers) in Benelux, develop a communication strategy to implement the vision through the implementation of appropriate team-building and change management initiatives
• Work with internal compensation experts, local shared-service HR teams, and, as needed, external suppliers to manage, reward, and recognize employees in a manner appropriate to each country
• Provide guidance on compensation and support the merit-based process to ensure internal and external equity and internal compliance with budgetary and performance-related criteria.
• Apply commercial thinking and a deep understanding of the business to provide practical and well-informed HR solutions and ideas that meet the client groups’ business needs.
• Proactively collaborate with key business and HR stakeholders to build strong relationships, which enable a solution-oriented approach to implementing HR initiatives.
• Work proactively with country teams to ensure that appropriate practical solutions are in place to respond quickly to changes in headcount. Take an active role in reviewing and adjusting recruitment needs and take or direct actions to address or improve them.
• Ensure that business managers are informed and comply with HR best practices and legislation.
• Manage administrative headcount processes using SAP and Workday, and also be able to work with Coupa.

Experience & Skills Required

• Proven track record of managing challenging and diverse client relationships
• Proven project management skills
• Significant experience in facilitating or conducting training
• Track record of business improvement initiatives
• Experience in multinational, fast-paced, progressive commercial organizations
• Experience working in a multicultural environment
• 3–5 years of experience as an HR manager
• Knowledge of Benelux employment law
