HR Consultant

Who are we?
Dynamo offers a comprehensive range of preschool programs, social work, and community services for local residents aged 0 to 100. Our service area covers the Oost, Zuid, West, and Centrum districts. In the coming years, Dynamo will focus its work on social inclusion and prevention.

The HR department supports our approximately 400 employees in all HR-related matters, allowing them to focus on the substance of their work. HR is responsible for managing all personnel processes, developing policies, and providing information. To expand our team, we are currently seeking a motivated HR advisor to work 32 hours per week, starting immediately.

What will you be doing?
As an HR advisor, you’ll act as a sparring partner for both your direct HR colleagues and the rest of the organization, for example, on key topics such as strategic workforce planning, leadership, and absenteeism. You’ll advise management and supervisors on the implementation of HR policy through your solid, specialized expertise, and you’ll use your enthusiastic and knowledgeable approach to build awareness and support. You identify, monitor, and evaluate developments in labor law and social policy and link these to the issues facing the organization. The HR department is in a state of constant change; you will contribute to its further professionalization and development.

What do we expect from you?
First and foremost, you naturally take great pleasure in your work and have a strong affinity with the industry. As a consultant, you are proactive, visible within the organization, and have a clear vision of the added value of HR. Additionally, for this role, you bring the following:

• a completed, relevant associate's degree program, preferably in the field of HR;
• At least 5 years of experience in a general HR consulting role;
• up-to-date professional knowledge;
• excellent communication skills, both verbal and written;
• an independent, constructive, and solution-oriented work ethic;
• firmness and decisiveness;
• Do you have experience with AFAS? If so, that’s definitely a plus!

What do we offer?
We offer a one-year contract with the possibility of extension. The position is classified in salary scale 9 (max. €4,252 gross per month) based on a 36-hour workweek. The terms of employment include a good pension plan, an individual choice budget (including an 8.3% year-end bonus), and a career development budget. Of course, it is possible to work partly from home.
