Theater Utrecht is charting an ambitious course as the city’s leading theater company of the future. We have strong local roots and are making our mark both nationally and internationally. Under the leadership of Creative Director Anne Breure, alongside national and international artists Carolina Bianchi, Casper Vandeputte, Cherish Menzo, Floor Houwink ten Cate, Jaha Koo, and Naomi Velissariou, we create high-profile productions and programs that are both personal and political. We do this for an audience that is as diverse as possible.
We provide a platform for underrepresented voices and stories to make a significant and lasting impact on audiences, the arts sector, and society. Theater Utrecht is an enterprising and well-established organization that is part of the national cultural infrastructure (BIS).
As Head of Audience (Marketing, Publicity, and Programming), you will lead a team of five professionals: a strategist, two campaign marketers, a programmer, and a freelance DTP specialist. Together with the team, you will work on developing a strong brand identity, successful campaigns for (co-)productions, and engaging and relevant audience programs—both in-house and across the country.
As a member of the Management Team, you will help set the direction for Theater Utrecht and ensure that the vision is clearly communicated to the staff.
