The MDA department ensures that new materials are acquired, described, and processed; that publications are made available via open access; and that available metadata is managed effectively. The department’s expertise is utilized for advisory services and policy development in these areas. Due to the growth of this department, we have created a new position that, in addition to overseeing the daily operations of part of the department, monitors new developments, collects, processes, and analyzes management information, and is responsible for further process improvement. Naturally, this involves close collaboration with the staff of the MDA department and various other departments at the UBL.

This is a full-time position for a period of one year, with the prospect of a permanent contract upon satisfactory performance. Salary is determined in accordance with the Collective Labor Agreement for Dutch Universities and depends on education and experience; the maximum gross monthly salary is €5,211 (salary scale 11).
