The Hoge Veluwe National Park Foundation was established in 1935 to preserve the legacy of the Kröller-Müller couple. The Hoge Veluwe National Park is privately owned and operates as an independent foundation. Its mission is to sustainably preserve the Park for future generations. The foundation accomplishes this in close collaboration with the Kröller-Müller Museum, located within the Park. The Park is known for its exceptional natural beauty, 2,000 free White Bikes, the Sint Hubertus Hunting Lodge, the Museonder, and its numerous excursions and activities. The Park welcomes over 600,000 paying visitors annually and operates largely without subsidies. To continue realizing the future plans and major projects of the Hoge Veluwe National Park Foundation, the Hoge Veluwe Fund support foundation was established.
