Kunstmin is looking for a Chief Financial Officer who can keep a tight grip on the numbers while maintaining an eye for the bigger picture within our dynamic cultural organization.

Kunstmin is Dordrecht’s theater, dedicated to presenting, producing, and developing innovative performing arts. We do this together: with artists, audiences, partners, and one another. Rooted in the city and at the heart of the community. Each year, we organize more than 300 performances, concerts, and community events in our historic Schouwburg and the vibrant Energiehuis.

To ensure our organization remains financially sound, we are looking for a decisive and dedicated Chief Financial Officer—someone who not only understands the numbers but also the people behind them.

What will you be doing as Head of Finance?

As Head of Finance, you will work closely with the Director of Operations and supervise the administrative assistant. You will ensure clarity, insight, and structure. You will be responsible for the entire financial administration and will actively contribute to optimizing processes within our organization.

You are the one who: 

• Ensures accurate financial and payroll administration
• Provides periodic closings and reports
• Serves as the point of contact for the auditor and handles all the preparations for audits
• Prepares annual financial statements, fund reports, and forecasts
• Analyzes data and presents it clearly to the management team
• Proposes initiatives to improve processes and internal controls
• Provides support for IT and HR matters and helps create a secure digital work environment

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with strong analytical skills, who can maintain an overview and has an eye for detail. You are a team player, but you can also work independently. You feel at home in an environment that involves development, production, and presentation. 

• You have a bachelor's degree in business administration
• You have several years of relevant work experience
• You enjoy working with Excel, and knowledge of Exact Online is a plus
• You are able to handle stress, detail-oriented, solution-oriented, and organized
• You feel a connection to the Dordrecht region and its cultural life
