
As an HR Systems Functional Administrator, you serve as the tactical link between the IT & Applications (I&A) and Human Resources (HR) departments. You will proactively work to optimize our HR tool, HR2day, and smaller applications, such as the digital signature program. You will ensure that our systems align with organizational needs and remain future-proof, serving as a systems strategist and process improver at the intersection of HR processes and IT.
You will become the go-to expert on the HR system and take the lead on its ongoing development. With a clear understanding of opportunities and challenges, you will work with colleagues on prioritized areas for improvement that contribute to the optimal design and future-proof operation of HR2day.
The Information Technology & Automation (I&A) Department is part of the Service Bureau at the Amsterdam University of the Arts (AHK). The Service Bureau brings together all the support services that assist the academies in achieving their goals. The Service Bureau is located in the heart of Amsterdam.

The I&A department consists of four teams: Consulting & Business Information, Functional Management, Infrastructure & Technical Management, and the IT Service Desk.
We maintain close ties with the various stakeholders and (core) users within the AHK. They are spread across multiple locations in Amsterdam. We actively reach out to them and welcome them—with a mindset of co-creation and service orientation. Together, we are working to further professionalize our services and optimize systems and processes within the organization.
You will join the Functional Management team, a diverse group of nine professionals responsible for managing systems that support operations, education, and research at the Amsterdam University of the Arts (AHK). We work with an appreciation for each other’s strengths, apply Lean methodologies, and regularly coordinate both in person and online.

Initially, you will be offered a one-year contract with the prospect of a permanent position. The gross monthly salary ranges from a minimum of €3,609.94 to a maximum of €4,909.21 based on full-time employment.
A Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG) is required for this position.
