Why Humanitas?
Humanitas is a professional volunteer organization with approximately 80 chapters throughout the Netherlands.
Our volunteers help people who are struggling to cope on their own. They are supported in this by professional staff. We offer activities on various topics: parenting, growing up, financial matters, grief, incarceration, and loneliness. We help people on an equal footing, for example by getting their paperwork in order, coping with the loss of a loved one, or keeping their family afloat. Because the issues faced by participants are becoming increasingly complex, the number of volunteers and professionals within the departments has grown, as has our revenue. The vast majority of our income comes from municipal subsidies. Our goal is to become less dependent on these funds. This presents exciting challenges. Would you like to help us make a difference in this area?
What we offer
- An independent and versatile role at an organization that truly makes the world a better place;
- Salary and benefits in accordance with the Welfare Collective Bargaining Agreement, scale 9, up to €4,946 gross per month based on a 36-hour workweek;
