KRO-NCRV is currently seeking someone to provide financial support to its Digital & Marketing department. You have prior experience as a producer in the media industry or as a project assistant with a strong financial focus.

What will you be doing?
As a Financial Project Assistant, you will serve as the Production Manager’s right-hand person. The role primarily involves administrative tasks related to projects for Digital & Marketing.
The work will include, among other things:
- Monitoring (sub)budgets for ongoing projects.
- Providing financial information to the production manager, including promptly identifying discrepancies and proposing solutions.
- Reviewing invoices and expense reports and verifying compliance with company policies.
- Negotiating rates with suppliers and freelance contractors for services in accordance with established guidelines and within the standard contract terms.
- You are responsible for drafting standard agreements for the arrangements made.
- Handling the administrative processing of contracts.
- Gathering input for the department’s (long-term) planning and anticipating potential bottlenecks.
- Assisting the department with organizational tasks such as sending flowers, arranging for a cake or drinks, etc.
About you
- You have previous experience as a producer in the media industry, or you have experience as a project assistant with a strong financial component.
- You have strong numerical skills and can make cost-conscious decisions.
- You enjoy working in Excel.
- You work meticulously and have an eye for detail.
- You are flexible, self-reliant, and able to handle stress.
- You have strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- You're good at switching between different projects and tasks.
- You're good at planning and organizing.
- You work with precision and a focus on solutions.
- You get along well with people.
What we offer
In addition to an interesting and challenging position in a dynamic and pleasant work environment, KRO-NCRV offers an excellent benefits package in accordance with the Collective Labor Agreement for Broadcasting Personnel, classified in pay scale G. The salary depends on education and experience and ranges from a minimum of €3,118.48 to a maximum of €4,000 per month for a 36-hour workweek. This is initially a 12-month contract, with the possibility of a (temporary) extension.
