Everyone has the right to healthcare. Yet access to healthcare is not a given for everyone—not even in the Netherlands. Doctors of the World is dedicated to helping people who have nowhere else to turn for medical care. We translate testimonials from our programs into an activist agenda for change.
Doctors of the World is part of the international medical network Médecins du Monde and operates in more than 70 countries, in addition to the Netherlands.
Our organization relies on dedicated volunteers, staff members, and members. In the Netherlands, we have a team of 50 paid staff members and over 280 volunteers.
