
Omroep ZWART operates in a dynamic and complex environment. As
The Executive Secretary at ZWART will assist you in carrying out the
(administrative) duties of the Board/Management, the Core Team, the Council of
Supervisory Board (RvT) and the Members' Council (LR). You are responsible for
coordinate administrative processes and ensure that the decisions that
be implemented within the organization. In addition, you will also
secretary to the Core Team, the Board of Trustees, and the Board of Governors.
You serve as a sounding board for the Board on policy matters and stay informed about developments in the fields of politics, society, legislation, and the media.
You will draft policy plans, annual plans, annual reports, and other policy documents on behalf of the Board.
You will serve as secretary during board meetings, Supervisory Board meetings, and Student Council meetings; you will prepare for these meetings and ensure that accurate minutes are taken.
You will advise the Board of Directors, the Supervisory Board, and the Executive Board on matters related to the articles of incorporation and bylaws, and keep them up to date.
You will represent ZWART in various meetings with, among others, fellow broadcasters, the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science, and the Media Authority.
You will coordinate the decision-making processes within the various consultative bodies and monitor their progress.
You have at least 5 years of experience as a Board Secretary. You can also demonstrate this through your work experience and the concrete results you have achieved in the past.
You share ZWART’s mission.
You have an affinity for club structures and members.
You have a bachelor’s degree in public administration, a comparable degree, or relevant work experience that makes you a good fit for the position.
You have a relevant network within the media industry or are able to build one quickly.
You provide advice on organization-wide issues.
You are proactive in both your actions and your thinking. In other words, you can take the lead and set priorities; you can make decisions; and you take the initiative on matters over which you have influence and for which you are responsible.

A contract for 16 hours per week.
The position offers a gross monthly salary ranging from €3,651 to €6,173, based on a 36-hour workweek. Your salary will be determined based on your experience and is set in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement for broadcasting staff, falling under pay scale H.
A one-year contract with the option to renew.
The terms of employment are in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement for broadcasting personnel. This collective bargaining agreement includes, among other things:
8% vacation bonus;
6% December bonus;
200 hours of leave per year, based on a 36-hour workweek;
travel allowance;
group pension plan (2/3 paid by Omroep ZWART);
A health insurance allowance of €30 gross per month.
