Educational Project Coordinator
In July 2023 , Marres will open the exhibition *Plantiarchaat*, in which the venue will be transformed into a world where plants rule. The exhibition literally turns the world upside down, featuring a massive forest growing upside down through all of Marres’ spaces. The exhibition is created by the artist collective Sunflower Soup, which calls on everyone to help build this plant kingdom.
Starting in March 2023, there will be weekly workshops where various groups will create plants from paper pulp under the guidance of experts.
For this exhibition, Marres is looking for an independent project coordinator to work up to 8 hours per week, who can organize, schedule, and lead the workshops.
What we are looking for in this coordinator:
- You will start in February and work through the exhibition opening on July 1, 2023;
- You are a self-employed professional in the cultural sector;
- You are a good planner and have strong logistical skills;
- You enjoy leading workshops for people of all ages;
- You have an affinity for paper pulp as a material and the connection between culture and nature;
- You can work every other week on a Wednesday or a Saturday;
- You have a driver's license;
- You’d like to help create a special exhibition at Marres.
This job opening closes on Thursday, February 2. The first round of interviews will take place on Tuesday, February 7, and the second round on Thursday, February 9.
