As a Secondary Education Instructor, you will be part of the
educational team. You will develop and monitor the programs and products we use to
making art and history accessible to different audiences. That
These can include workshops, guided tours, and various projects such as magazines or
an app. You also organize focus groups and workshops, and you are
responsible for the implementation and development of
talent development programs such as the Rijksmuseum Junior Fellowship.
You will make a significant contribution to:
policy and strategy for the secondary education target group;
educational products for the target audience;
the quality of the programs and products for the target audience;
sharing knowledge in the field of education with the target audience.

As a Secondary Education Instructor, you will be working in the
an eight-person education team. This team is part of the Public Department
and Education. A diverse and ambitious group of people.
What do you bring to the table?

In addition:
at least a bachelor's or master's degree from a university of applied sciences;
at least 3 years of relevant work experience, for example as a teacher or
project manager;
strong organizational and communication skills;
from the target audience's perspective and are able to empathize with the various
levels within secondary education;
a creative thinker and doer.
Experience in secondary education is preferred.
We offer:
Salary ranging from €2,940 to €3,894 gross per month (pay scale 9);
one-year contract, with the possibility of renewal;
Reimbursement of your public transportation costs for trips of 5 kilometers or more, up to a maximum of €
$345;
to work partly from home (in consultation with your manager), with a
budget for setting up your home office;
opportunities for professional and personal development;
Museum Year Card with unlimited access to 450 museums in the Netherlands after your
probationary period. You are always welcome at the Rijksmuseum with one guest;
in various events and sports activities, such as Rijkshockey and the
National Run.
