Students work on realistic assignments based on real-world professional practice, supplemented by lectures, training sessions, assessments, and guidance for projects, internships, and/or graduation projects.
We deliver our instruction primarily through Learning Communities, where you work alongside other teachers to deliver and shape the curriculum. Click here for more information about our educational concept.

You are a team player, work independently, and take responsibility for organizing your own work and that of your colleagues. You are able to handle stress and cope well with peak workloads in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Teaching experience and a Basic Teaching Qualification (BDB) are preferred. In addition, knowledge in the areas of sustainability and climate behavior, neuropsychology, and clinical psychology is recommended
The Applied Psychology program has approximately 1,250 students and about 65 dedicated staff members, most of whom are university-trained psychologists. The team is energetic and passionate, and the atmosphere is positive. Through internships in every year of the program and practical assignments, students are actively engaged with society.
The Applied Psychology program works closely with the “Psychology for a Sustainable City” research group and with the professional master’s program in “Climate Psychology and Behavior.” There is a strong focus on integrating social issues and real-world practice into the curriculum, with topics such as sustainable behavior and employability, healthy behavior and lifestyle, mental health of young people, diversity and inclusion, and digitalization recurring across many areas.
