The success of our organization depends entirely on the quality of our staff and the ideas they bring to the table. Genuine attention and effective guidance for our students stem from a blend of cultures, knowledge, and experience. We are looking for several instructors for the Entree team in Zwolle.
Inspiration and Development at Deltion
Entree provides MBO 1 education to young people in vulnerable situations. A large proportion of our students are young people from non-Dutch backgrounds who have difficulty with the language. This is one of the reasons why we place a strong emphasis on language, math, and ICT to ensure they are well-prepared for their next steps toward further education or employment. We offer programs tailored to each student’s starting point.
In addition to the general courses, students also take practical classes at Deltion, where they can choose from the following specializations: assistant, installation and construction techniques, construction, housing and maintenance, the mobility sector, services and healthcare, hospitality and the food industry, sales and retail, logistics, and process techniques. Students attend a half-day of general education and a half-day of practical training on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays. Wednesdays and Thursdays are internship days.
Due to changes in the student population (NT2 and increased complexity), the new integration law, and developments in the field, Entree is undergoing significant development—both in terms of team structure and educational content. As an Entree instructor, you will be versatile and able to teach a wide range of general subjects as well as practical courses. This means that flexibility, collegiality, patience, and creativity are constantly required. The work environment is challenging, and the fundamental attitude of teachers is solution-oriented and entrepreneurial, in collaboration with both internal and external networks.
The team consists of about 35 colleagues with a wide range of knowledge, expertise, and backgrounds. We focus on talent and operate based on shared leadership.

With so many students, there are so many different interests. That’s what makes Deltion a wonderful, inspiring, and vibrant place to work, study, and learn for everyone, day in and day out. A prime example of

At Deltion, we stand for openness, diversity, and independence. We work together every day to achieve this—by listening to one another, being open to everyone’s opinions, and maintaining an ongoing dialogue. In this way, Deltion makes a significant contribution to the growth, development, and future of our people in an environment where they can give their best—for a lifetime.
You are
Independent, flexible, and proactive. You make a proactive contribution to meaningful, context-based education; you easily make connections between the various subjects and lessons and the profession for which we are training our students. In addition, we value a hands-on approach, yet you’re also able to step back when the situation calls for it. You have strong organizational skills and can maintain a broad perspective on the subject matter, allowing you to make well-considered decisions. We’re looking for someone who can think and act beyond the day-to-day and operate at a tactical level in addition to teaching. The team can count on a self-assured and authentic colleague who is capable of self-reflection, can handle setbacks, and takes pride in successes.
- An affinity for young people, a background in Dutch as a second language (NT2), and preferably knowledge of the "Entree" program.
- You have completed a bachelor's degree and are certified to teach in vocational education.
- You have extensive knowledge of education and strong coaching skills
- You have experience in testing.
- Proficiency in Arabic and knowledge of Arab culture are a plus.
We are looking for colleagues who will contribute to diversity within the Entree team, where diversity refers to factors such as cultural background, employability, education, gender, and age.
