Data Manager / Salesforce Administrator

Your role

Salesforce is the beating heart of our organization’s database. It is used as a CRM system, project database, and campaign engine, with integrations to Marketing Cloud and Findoc, among others. As a Salesforce Data Manager/Application Administrator, you translate Salesforce-related questions from across the organization into concrete development requests for our external developers. You contribute ideas regarding the data model and any necessary adjustments in collaboration with the external developers, and if a problem arises in the data model, you dive right in without hesitation. You work closely with various departments at vfonds. You are the ideal sparring partner for communications and fundraising when it comes to creating selections for automated campaigns and setting up customer journeys in Marketing Cloud. You will perform selections and analyses and prepare reports to evaluate campaigns. You will be operationally and functionally responsible for Salesforce & Marketing Cloud. You will optimize data processes. You will identify opportunities, set ambitious goals, and translate the organization’s needs into effective workflows.

Your main duties and responsibilities are:

• A sounding board for internal stakeholders and external parties during development processes;
• Identify and resolve simple issues in the database or escalate them;
• Assisting users with Salesforce;
• Collecting and analyzing development requirements related to Salesforce, translating them into tasks for the external developer, and overseeing the development process;
• Testing newly developed applications in Salesforce;
• Selecting the right data for campaigns and creating reports;
• Setting up, monitoring, evaluating, and optimizing campaign flows.

Your profile

We are looking for an experienced data manager for this position. You are a team player, but you can also work well independently, and you have a genuine interest in vfonds’s mission and objectives.

In addition:

• Do you have at least a college-level education and way of thinking?
• Ideally, you have at least five years of experience in a similar position;
• Do you have experience working with and managing CRM systems, as well as using reporting and dashboard tools?
• Do you have extensive experience with data management, preferably within Salesforce?
• Do you have experience with administrative tasks and managing external parties;
• You are analytical, solution-oriented, and enjoy tackling complex issues;
• You work carefully and accurately, and you enjoy helping others;
• You are professional, organized, and take the initiative.

• A varied position based on a 32-hour workweek with competitive benefits;
• This position is compensated according to Scale 8 of the Social Work Collective Bargaining Agreement (depending on education and experience, a minimum of €3,035 and a maximum of €4,607 per month based on a 36-hour workweek). The employment contract is for one year with the possibility of renewal;
• A workspace at our beautiful office in downtown Utrecht.
