We are looking for a: Cultural Coach

About us:

The Cultural Education Department focuses on promoting cultural education in schools and early childhood education. We advise and support schools in primary, secondary, and vocational education, and connect the education sector with the city’s cultural institutions. We offer a comprehensive program for training, inspiration, and knowledge sharing, and coordinate cultural offerings for primary and secondary education in our annual brochures Vonk and Expeditie C. At the heart of all this are The Hague’s students, in all their diversity. The team consists of approximately 18 people.

Here's what you'll be doing:

You will inspire schools to embrace cultural education and support them in developing and implementing their vision for cultural education. This primarily involves elementary schools.
You will assist educational institutions in establishing partnerships with cultural organizations, with a focus on improving the quality of cultural education.
You will contribute to activities related to providing information, sharing knowledge, and promoting expertise.

What you'll need:

You have knowledge of and experience with (cultural) education.
You are able to think and work systematically.
You have organizational and communication skills.
You have strong advisory and networking skills and are able to inspire others.
You are familiar with, or have an affinity for, working in a large city like The Hague, which is home to a wide variety of residents.
