• You have experience and knowledge in the management of technical systems and facilities;
  
• An independent problem-solver with a hands-on approach and the ability to set priorities and perform well under pressure;
  
• Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively coordinate between internal teams, external partners, and other stakeholders;
  
• An enthusiastic professional who is eager and capable of leading a small team. Experience with budgeting and cost management is a plus.

What will you be doing?

As Technical Coordinator at the Concertgebouw, you will be the driving force behind the technical department and responsible for its day-to-day technical management and coordination, including assigning tasks to technical staff and setting priorities. In this role, you will oversee the regular maintenance, improvement, and repair of equipment, technical installations, and facilities within the Concertgebouw, working closely with colleagues and external suppliers. At the Concertgebouw, we have ambitious goals in the area of sustainability, and this is therefore an important part of your responsibilities within the technical department. In addition, you will work closely with the Theater Technology department to support them with the technical aspects that ensure our concerts and events run smoothly.

What does the team look like?

You will be working as part of the Technical Services team, a team of six dedicated colleagues that is part of the Facilities Department. You will report to the Building Management, Facilities, and Technical Services Coordinator.

The work involves the entire Facilities Department, which includes the Reception & Security, Operations, Technical Services, and Theater Technology departments. This team consists of approximately 30 colleagues, and together we ensure that we can pass on the Concertgebouw to future generations.

• A salary ranging from a minimum of €2,949 to a maximum of €3,854 gross per month (scale 6A)
