As the Reporting Code Coordinator, you play a unique and crucial role in enhancing the safety of both children and adults who visit our hospital. You ensure that healthcare providers identify child abuse and domestic violence in a timely manner and act in accordance with the national reporting code.
You will support them in improving and ensuring the quality of care in this area. You will achieve this by providing training through the Antonius Academy, conducting clinical sessions, and training ambassadors in the departments who can then share the knowledge they have gained with their colleagues. In addition, you develop and maintain policies, protocols, and the information on the intranet. You serve as the go-to resource for colleagues and discuss case studies within the Reporting Code Committee, of which you are the chair.
Together with your fellow coordinator, you are responsible for developing the training plan, the budget, and the annual report. You will help develop and implement policies regarding child abuse and domestic violence. In addition, you will maintain active contact both within and outside our organization, including with Veilig Thuis, and participate in regional meetings several times a year. You can read more about the Reporting Code Committee here.
As a Reporting Code Coordinator, you’ll work across the hospital alongside dedicated healthcare professionals who share a common goal: providing safe care to children and adults. You’ll form a close-knit team with the other coordinator and collaborate closely with the Reporting Code Committee, ambassadors within the organization, and external partners such as Veilig Thuis.
You will work 8 hours per week, always on Thursdays. There is no fixed work location; you will primarily work from home and come into the office for appointments and meetings. The work environment is open, collegial, and focused on professional development. Your expertise is recognized and valued. In this independent role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for healthcare providers and will have ample opportunity to shape your own professional contributions.
