The Join Us Foundation identifies and addresses loneliness among young people. To expand our team, we are looking for a Fundraising and Partnerships Coordinator. Are you a natural networker who enjoys keeping track of funding and related goals? Do you get a kick out of diving into writing grant proposals and reporting, and do you see it as a rewarding challenge to proactively reach out to new partners and connect them with Join Us? If so, we’d love to hear from you.
The Join Us Foundation identifies and addresses loneliness among young people. We do this with and for young people. We have been active since 2018. We have grown rapidly: we have now helped thousands of young people, and the Join Us methodology is being implemented in over 80 municipalities by local social service organizations.
Who are we looking for?
You’re a natural networker and enjoy keeping track of funding and related goals. You get a real kick out of diving into writing a grant application, preparing financial reports, or thoroughly analyzing and getting financial reporting in order. You see it as a great challenge to proactively reach out to new partners and connect them with Join Us. Of course, you’ll also be the one building and maintaining relationships with funders and partners.
We believe that the diversity of our employees, freelancers, and volunteers makes us a strong team. We want people from all walks of life to feel represented, and we are looking for individuals with diverse backgrounds and experiences to come together and form a powerful team.
What will you be doing?
- You know how to get organizations excited about helping us achieve our mission;
- You will manage our partner strategy and recruit new partners for that purpose;
- When a new opportunity arises, you will draft the grant application and negotiate the agreement with partners;
- You will serve as the point of contact for our funds and partners and ensure effective collaboration;
- You coordinate goals with partners and colleagues and work toward achieving them;
- You will prepare and monitor the financing plan, review the monthly reports, prepare interim reports, and identify areas where adjustments are needed;
- You ensure that reports are submitted on time and that other commitments are met.
What do we expect from you?
- First, you must have a relevant degree at the associate’s degree level or higher and at least three years of experience in a coordinating network role.
- You have a good command of both Dutch and English.
- You take the initiative and proactively reach out to new partners and funding sources.
- In addition, you’re great at keeping track of the big picture, preparing (financial) reports, and writing accountability reports.
- In addition, you have a strong connection to Join Us’s mission.
- Finally, you are available for 28–32 hours per week and able to work partly from the Join Us office near the ‘s-Hertogenbosch Central Station.
Join Us offers:
- A challenging role for a Fundraising and Partnerships Coordinator who can help Join Us grow, alongside a dedicated team of 15 staff members and 100 volunteers.
- Excellent employment conditions in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement for social work. In addition to your salary (€3,500–€5,000 per month based on a 36-hour workweek), benefits include a flexible spending account equal to 16.1% of your salary, a contribution toward your pension premiums, and a generous leave policy.
- A nice office near 's-Hertogenbosch Central Station.
- Opportunity for professional growth.
- But above all: a position of responsibility within an innovative and growing social enterprise that makes a significant impact. Together, we’re changing the lives of thousands of young people.
We’d love to hear from you!
