Would you like to work alongside passionate colleagues to create a world where people and nature thrive? And help build a “nature-positive” impact in the world’s most biodiverse landscapes by mobilizing people? That’s what you’ll be doing when you work at the World Wildlife Fund (WWF-NL).
WWF-Netherlands is organized into the following departments: Conservation, Engagement, Organization & Talent Development, and Finance & Operations. The Engagement department operates using an agile approach, comprising 5 chapters and 6 squads: multidisciplinary, self-organizing teams with their own areas of responsibility. We are seeking a Content Producer (36 hours per week) for this department .
What are you going to do?
As a content producer, you’ll be part of the Marketing & Studio chapter and contribute creatively to our nature conservation mission. You’ll work closely with colleagues from Digital, designers from the studio team, client managers, and communications and marketing specialists. Together with them, you’ll conceive and develop all forms of (digital) content for specific channels.
In this role, you will work with multiple teams, each serving a specific target audience, such as businesses, foundations, and major donors. You will create engaging content to retain and attract these audiences. An important part of your role is reporting to partners and donors. You will ensure that our partners and major donors feel connected to our nature conservation projects through impact storytelling. You will also be responsible for WWF-NL’s annual report. The content you create is therefore always tailored to a specific target audience. That is why a solid foundation in marketing and communication is essential for this role.
What we're looking for
You have at least 5 years of experience in editorial work, content management, and communications consulting. You excel at creating both copy and visuals for various target audiences and channels. You are creative and can develop a compelling concept in no time. You have a keen understanding of the target audience’s wishes and needs.
Since you’ll be working with multiple teams, it’s crucial to work in a structured manner, coordinate with your fellow content producers, and clearly distinguish between main and secondary tasks. You enjoy serving as the point of contact and coordinating content-related matters using this agile approach.
In addition, you have knowledge of digital channels and know how to make the most of them for specific target audiences.
You work accurately and efficiently, collaborating seamlessly with your team to ensure your content achieves its intended impact. Your content is specific, relevant, and conveys the right brand experience. You can discuss these aspects persuasively with your clients.
You proactively advise your teams, based on the intended goals, on the communication tools and content to be used. You can do this at a strategic level.
And of course, you’re a strong writer. Experience with CMS, social media, webinars, newsletters, and online video is preferred.
