Are you a passionate content manager? We’re looking for a dedicated professional who puts the residents and businesses of Leiden at the heart of every online interaction.
What will you be doing as a content manager?
The Online Services Team manages the City of Leiden’s website. For many residents and business owners, the website is their first point of contact with the city. As a content manager, you will write, edit, and manage content for the website. You will work with your colleagues to continue improving the city’s online services.
In this role, you will be responsible for the following:

- You will improve the readability of existing texts that we use on the website and in online forms.
- You will consult with colleagues throughout the organization to ensure that content aligns with the organization’s work processes and is factually accurate.
- You ensure that the content is up to date.
- You write texts at the B1 level.
- You are actively seeking ways to improve the content and services offered to the residents of Leiden.
- You ensure that the text and images on the website meet the accessibility requirements applicable to government agencies.
- We work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- You will work closely with the web analysts and use data analysis to inform the decisions you make.
- You will work with the service designers on projects aimed at improving our online services.
- You will work with the webmasters to develop and maintain the forms and maps we use on the website.

- You can receive a travel allowance or use an NS Business Card.
- An environment where we work with dedication and enthusiasm to achieve the best possible results for our residents.
- A professional work environment where we prioritize your personal development. We offer a wide range of training and educational programs to help you grow professionally.
- An Individual Choice Budget of 17.05% on top of your salary (comprising, among other things, vacation pay and a year-end bonus) that you can use as you see fit. For example, for additional pay, vacation days, or training.
- Partially paid parental leave, in addition to the statutory 70% scheme.
