Content Creator / Online Editor

For the online division ofAndere Tijden, we are looking for a: 

Content Creator / Online Editor (f/x/m) 

(32 hours per week)  

Here's what you'll be doing:

• Together with the team, you will re-edit episodes of *Andere Tijden* for various platforms and supplement them with material from the Sound and Vision image archive. In this way, you will place current events in a historical context 
• Together with the team, you’ll come up with and create new types of content 
• Together with the team, you will manage all online communications for *Andere Tijden* and the history department 
• You are looking to partner with and collaborate with external parties to expand the reach of your communications 
• You are involved in community management 
• You will perform editorial tasks such as (visual) research, writing articles, and drafting a newsletter 

This is you:

• You have experience creating video and online content and can tell a historical story in a concise and compelling way 
• You know how to attract and engage a large audience with compelling montages 
• You know which story resonates on which platform 
• You have extensive experience with Adobe programs such as Premiere and Photoshop 
• You have experience working in a team 
• You follow the news and know how to distinguish between the main issues and the side issues 
• You're interested in history and you're quick to make connections 
• You know how to manage a community and conduct yourself professionally in doing so 
• You are creative, enthusiastic, and see the big picture 

Here's what we offer:

A one-year contract for 32 hours per week, with the possibility of extension. Depending on your knowledge and experience, this position is compensated within salary grade F of the broadcasting collective bargaining agreement. The other terms and conditions of employment also comply with the collective bargaining agreement for broadcasting personnel.
