- You are building a strong network of people with lung disease, relevant organizations, volunteers, and organizers
- You strengthen connections among peers and help ensure their long-term sustainability
- You will work with the team and the community to develop an activity calendar that truly meets the needs of people with lung disease
- You ensure that providers and participants feel connected, and work on a sustainable retention program
- You’ll work with others to organize meetings and webinars—based on the community’s needs
- You actively involve people with lung disease in the direction of the Lung Fund and enjoy working collaboratively
Who are you?
- You have experience with community building, such as through resident initiatives or informal networks—and know what works to bring people together
- You have experience in or an affinity for the healthcare or social services sector and/or working with people who have a chronic illness or condition and their caregivers
- You are enterprising, energetic, a strong communicator, and a natural connector: people quickly feel at ease around you
- You are eager to learn and curious: you want to continue growing and developing in your field
- You are able to switch easily between working independently and collaborating with colleagues and partners
What do you bring to the table?
- You have a college-level education and way of thinking
- You have several years of work experience
- You communicate flawlessly, both verbally and in writing
- You have experience with digital platforms and community tools (preferred)
- You have experience with community building and can easily coordinate between companies, partners, and volunteers

- A salary according to pay scale J (from €3,812 to €5,463) under the Longfonds collective bargaining agreement, depending on education and experience, based on a 36-hour workweek

Which team will you be working on?
As a Community Coordinator, you will be working in the Self-Management Team. People with lung disease want to participate actively in society as much as possible. They want high-quality, accessible, and affordable care when they need it. As a patient organization, Longfonds is committed to helping them achieve this. This team initiates and supports initiatives that lead to better lung health. People with lung disease are at the center of our work. We are committed to advocacy, providing accurate information, and facilitating peer support.
