Schoolleiders VO is dedicated to strengthening the school leadership profession. We facilitate meetings among school leaders, we ensure their voices are heard in policy-making, we promote the professional development of school leaders, and we foster dialogue about the role of school leaders within the school organization. We are looking for a communications specialist with at least 5 years of experience who, working closely with our senior communications specialist, will help put our new organization on the map! You excel at consistently implementing our brand identity and are comfortable drafting press releases, designing new flyers, or running social media campaigns.
Schoolleiders VO was established to promote the professional development of secondary school leaders (both individually and collectively) and to provide them with a space where they can easily connect with fellow school leaders, exchange information, and learn from one another. We are a new organization that places a high priority on collaboration, mutual learning, and knowledge sharing, and aims to be a powerful collective for school leaders. In terms of content, the organization’s objectives are outlined in three themes:
We offer you a challenging position in which you will contribute to the development of secondary education. You will work three days a week. Since Schoolleiders VO is formally part of the VO-raad, you will be employed by the VO-raad. Initially, you will be offered a one-year contract, with the possibility of renewal.
The position of Communications Advisor is classified in pay grade 9 (CAO VO). It comes with excellent benefits, such as 426 vacation hours per year for full-time employment (including generally recognized holidays), an end-of-year bonus of 8.33%, an excellent pension plan with the ABP, and an annual professional development budget of €1,500 to support your growth and development. You have the option to work in a hybrid model. The position starts on September 1.
