The Community Communication & Events (CC&E) team is looking for an enthusiastic communications advisor who can effortlessly combine operational communication with advisory skills, project insight, and our core values. As a communications advisor, you will ensure that communication is used honestly and transparently, with an eye for the stories behind the people.
You will be responsible for day-to-day communications with the Red Cross community. You will advise project leaders and managers on communication strategies for various projects and implement these strategies yourself. You will write clear and concise content, manage various communication channels, and develop online and offline communication materials, such as email campaigns, newsletters, brochures, an online magazine, and presentations.

The salary for this position falls within pay scale 10 of the Dutch Red Cross Collective Bargaining Agreement, depending on experience (min. €3,546.30 to max. €4,780.36) gross per month for a full-time position of 40 hours per week. A one-year fixed-term contract with the possibility of extension.
In addition to your monthly salary, you’ll receive an Individual Choice Budget (ICB) of 19.21%, which includes vacation pay and a year-end bonus. You can choose how to receive or use this budget. In addition, there are various other benefits, such as a pension plan, travel allowance, and excellent opportunities for personal development. You will also be provided with a laptop and a cell phone.
Our association’s office is located in The Hague, within walking distance of the Laan van NOI train station. Like everyone else, you’ll work partly at our beautiful office and partly from home.
