advocate for sufficient, quality, and affordable housing, and livable
neighborhoods and a strong position for prospective tenants, tenants, and their organizations
in both the social and commercial rental sectors.
We are constantly looking for
ways to curb the housing crisis and help tenants. There is
still much to be done in this area, and we work hard on it every day. We do this with a
team of nearly 60 employees, including consultants and advisors, lawyers,
energy specialists, policymakers, and communications staff. The Woonbond
offers its members expertise and services such as legal assistance, mediation,
advice, and information. We also provide paid services such as educational programs,
training courses, comprehensive consulting projects, and research.
What will you be doing?
As a communications advisor, you’ll be the first point of contact for the press and will know
how to pique their interest. As the front-line spokesperson, you’ll convey the
Woonbond’s positions clearly and in understandable language. For colleagues
giving interviews on substantive topics, you’ll coordinate their media appearances and
serve as a coach and sounding board.
In addition to serving as spokesperson, you’re also responsible for advising on the
communication strategy and policy, as well as on campaigns and initiatives. You develop
internal and external communication tools and are responsible for promotional and
informational materials. Finally, you oversee communication and campaign budgets.
This is you
You are enthusiastic, persuasive, and able to clearly
explain complex topics. You are proactive and enterprising, and you don’t shy away from
taking the initiative and expressing your ideas.
You also have:
- At least an associate's degree in the field of communication.
- At least three years of work experience in a similar position.
- Experience with communication via social media.
- Knowledge of the housing and rental market is a plus.

You can count on this
- For a 36-hour workweek, a gross monthly salary between €3,221 and €4,830 (scale 10, Social Work Collective Bargaining Agreement). Your starting salary will depend on your knowledge, skills, and experience.
- A one-year contract with the possibility of renewal or a permanent position.
- An individual flexible spending allowance of at least 18.8% of your salary and excellent employee benefits, including a personal career budget of 1.5% of your monthly salary.
