Do you enjoy helping to ensure the long-term employability of employees? Are you thoroughly familiar with the Gatekeeper Improvement Act, and do you know how to navigate situations where reintegration stalls? And above all, do you want to help enhance the value of work at Pantar?
Pantar is the largest social enterprise in Amsterdam and Diemen. It is a vibrant and diverse organization that doesn’t view a disability as a limitation. At Pantar, you’ll find a job where you can truly make a difference while continuing to develop your talents.
As a case manager, you will report directly to the Health & Safety Team Manager within the HR department. The Health & Safety team consists of 1 team manager, 4 case managers, 2 junior case managers, 2 support staff members, and 2 occupational health and safety advisors.
Your responsibility is to oversee the sick leave process. You are responsible for ensuring that all steps required under the Gatekeeper Improvement Act are taken and that case files are substantively sound, timely, and complete. You discuss reintegration options with managers and, in specific cases, participate in meetings between the manager and the employee. You capitalize on reintegration opportunities and ensure that a return to work (partial or full) is initiated in a concrete and timely manner.
Managers, the occupational health and safety service, the UWV, and internal departments know where to turn to you for questions regarding absenteeism. You also serve as a sounding board for managers. You help them maintain ownership of absenteeism management and support them in becoming more proficient in this area. When necessary, you involve colleagues in HR and Health & Safety.
Finally, you will have the opportunity to develop tools to improve absenteeism management. You will analyze absenteeism figures, identify trends, and use this information to formulate recommendations for prevention and sustainable employability.
You bring a variety of skills to the table and do more than just go through the motions. You truly take the lead in managing the absence management process and ensure that case files are of high quality, thereby preventing risks associated with the UWV (such as wage penalties). You are an independent go-getter who can handle resistance and knows how to motivate employees and managers. You are a strong sparring partner for managers and communicate easily at various levels within the organization.
In addition, you must have a college-level education and possess a CROV / Absenteeism Management certification (or a demonstrably equivalent qualification); this is a strict requirement. You have experience in a similar role and possess extensive knowledge of social legislation, such as the Gatekeeper Improvement Act, as well as labor laws related to absenteeism and disability.
Don't check off every box (yet)? Apply anyway—you probably have other valuable skills we haven't even thought of yet!
We firmly believe that everyone has the potential to work. In the Amsterdam region, we provide employment, support, and a great deal of personal attention to over 2,500 people with disabilities. We are Pantar.
