
As a case manager at the Center for Safe Sport Netherlands (CVSN), you actively contribute to a sports environment where everyone feels safe and respected. You will develop into a specialist in the field of inappropriate behavior and social safety, focusing on legal and social issues in sports. In your role, you will serve as a key point of contact for reports and provide support in guiding reporters and other parties involved.
You will work alongside fellow case managers and specialists, under the guidance of a team leader. The CVSN receives inquiries daily via phone, email, and the anonymous SpeakUp program. As a case manager, you will handle these inquiries and provide guidance on possible next steps
You will receive (confidential) reports and ensure that records are maintained accurately and impartially, with respect for all parties involved
You inform whistleblowers, those involved, and organizations about possible steps in various proceedings, such as criminal proceedings, sports disciplinary proceedings, and rehabilitation programs
You maintain contact with confidential advisors and integrity managers within sports organizations and support them in their work
You will work with colleagues on complex cases and contribute to projects that promote a safe and inclusive sports environment.
As a case manager, you serve as an approachable point of contact for everyone in the sports community, regardless of background, position, or situation. You actively contribute to fostering a culture where reports are taken seriously and people feel safe sharing their stories. Together with your team, you ensure that sports in the Netherlands remain a place where respect and equality are central.
Initial appointment for a term of one year
32 hours per week (the hours will be distributed throughout the workweek by mutual agreement)
Pay scale 10 (based on a 38-hour workweek) in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement for the sports sector (salary depends on knowledge and experience)

HBO-level education and work experience, at least 5 years of work experience
A completed degree in fields such as law, public administration, psychology, social work, sports science, or a Master’s in Sports and Law. * A willingness to pursue additional education and training
Experience with or an interest in the topic of inappropriate behavior and/or integrity in sports
Proficient in using MS Office applications

The Center for Safe Sport in the Netherlands (CVSN) is here to support all athletes, coaches, parents, and administrators who experience inappropriate behavior in sports. The CVSN is therefore the reporting center for inappropriate behavior within sports. It is supported by a large network of support services and law enforcement agencies. Within the CVSN, a number of specialists are active on various topics related to inappropriate behavior. The Center also addresses issues related to doping, match-fixing, and diversity.
